Booktober

I came upon the hashtag #booktober on Twitter from @ifiwasacupcake (Angie Willocks) and thought I would bring it to my blog and create a theme for the month.

What better project to celebrate #booktober with then the African Library Project. Reading the lovely book The Camel Bookmobile by Masha Hamilton, put me in contact with the US organisation African Library Project.

I believe books and reading is important for your development and which ever way you get in contact with books, they will change your life for ever. If you’re reading this in the US, why not start a book drive and collect books. In the rest of the world, donate money through the website, or find a book-organisation in your country to donate books or money to.

Do you know any other organisations more people should know about, let me know in the comments.
